18:00      Assemble at the venue; Registration; Meet & greet members over tea and snacks.

18:30      Introduction and update by Mr. Harsh Obrai about the new India IT Forum activities.

18:35      Presentation and demo of digital display system by Tani san from Sharp.

19:00      Interactive panel discussion.

Theme: Key Success Factors in Managing Global Operations (with a special focus on execution and management of IT projects)

Topics for the panel discussion are as follows.

Dear Members,

India IT Club has been in existence for more than 11 years. During this pleasant journey, we have had more than 60 seminars/meetings across Japan. Besides Tokyo, we have had events in Sapporo, Iwate, Niigata, Shizuoka, Kyoto, Osaka, Fukuoka, Okinawa, Gifu, etc.. In each of these places, we received a very warm welcome and we observed a high level of interest in India. India IT-Club has played a critical role in bridging the gap between India and Japan in the IT sector and has become a well established source of information and industry interactions.

At this stage in our journey, we have felt the need to give India IT Club a "Formal Structure" and a "Constitution". As a first step, the Core Group decided to rename it as INDIA IT FORUM.

In the coming weeks and months, we will take measures to formalize the functioning of the India IT Forum and further re-enforce its identity. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Embassy of India in Tokyo and all our members for their continuous support over the years.
