“The Internet of Things, The Next Stage: An introduction to the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) – Introduction to Test-beds at IIC”

IoT – from being a buzz word a few months ago is steadily moving towards a realized promise. There are still multiple experiments going on world over to find the best way to implement and deploy IoT. Every leading economy in the world including Japan has embraced this paradigm and investing substantially.

One of the challenges right from the beginning of this concept has been one of standards to allow interoperability of IoT systems/ Clouds/ Devices.

Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) is an international body comprising of like minded member companies to enable open standards, create reference architecture to realize the promise of this paradigm. One of the important activities of IIC has been to create working Test-Beds for a number of use case scenarios.
