Prime Minister Abe visited India from December 11th to 13th, 2015. This visit may bring a “Turning-Point” for Japan-India mutual business. You can see the joint statement released following the visit by clicking here.

The two Prime Ministers stressed the importance of expansion in the two-way investment between Japan and India. The Japanese side expressed the intention of establishing a new mechanism, “Japan-India IoT Investment Initiative”, to promote investment in Internet of Things (IoT) related area from India to Japan.

We are going to invite METI/JETRO senior representatives to make presentation on their plans during this seminar.
METI has expressed that they will like to interview Indian people as individuals, asking “Why did you come to Japan at all?”, “Any obstacles for you doing business/living your own life in Japan?”, “What are you satisfied with in Japan nowadays? And what’s left?” etc. so that they could capture a clearer view on Japan’s attractiveness for foreigners which might be emerging recently, if any.
In addition, we shall have some Indian mid-sized companies making presentations during this seminar about their company’s products/services which they promote in Japan.
